«Rusmolco» is one of the leaders of the Russian dairy industry and the biggest producer of raw milk in the Penza region. |
The main advantages of the unique system for manure removal and separation are their recycling and complete environmental safety.
The ideal cleanness in cow barns is maintained by applying the Canadian manure scrapers. Here the manure removal is harmonized with the operating mode of manure pumping plants. Operated automatically the scraper does not disturb cows and does not affect other technological processes – milking and feeding of animals.

The complex is equipped with one of most advanced system of manure removal and separation which analogs are used today on US and European farms.
This system supplies manure to separators of solids and liquid phase. The manure from cow barns is completely processed and separated into the solid and liquid fractions.
The liquid fraction is settled in lagoons designed for annual accumulation of separated manure and after this it is used for irrigation and fertilization of the nearby fields with the help of mobile pumps or moved to great distances in barrels. The lagoons are protected with specialty biologically safe film preventing liquid to seep into ground waters.
The solids are directed to two bioreactors “Biocomplex” where they are desiccated and decontaminated applying the accelerated composting technology. The composting process goes on in aerobic conditions (permanent blow-through with air) and at a high temperature (to 72oC). Therefore, the mass dries out without additional energy input during 24 hours. A third of the solids is dehydrated and used as bedding in cow pens. This saves about 10 mln Rubles a year. The remaining solids are processed into compost and applied on the fields as fertilizers. Today these are the first bioreactors in the Penza Region.
