Rusmolco has started harvesting grains

The Russian Dairy Company, one of the largest milk producers in the country, has started a harvesting campaign in the Penza region. The company plans to harvest more than 160 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops: 30 thousand tons of winter wheat, more than 40 thousand tons of spring barley, more than 30 thousand tons of spring wheat, 57 thousand tons of corn for grain, as well as peas and vetch-oats. Harvesting began in mid-July. The company's agronomists plan to complete the harvest in the optimal agrotechnical terms.

Currently, Rusmolco is conducting agricultural works in eight areas of the Penza region on the total territory of 32,400 hectares: Pachelma, Narovchat, Bashmakovo, Kamenka, Kondol, Kuznetsk, Nizhniy Lomov, Serdobsk.

The largest amount of work will be done in Pachelma where the company will harvest 7.9 thousand hectares of grain. Totally 12 thousand hectares will be harvested both in Narovchat and Bashmakovo. In Kamenka, grains and leguminous crops will be harvested from the area of 3.9 thousand hectares, in Kondol - 3.2 thousand hectares, in Kuznetsk – 2.3 thousand hectares, both in Nizhniy Lomov and Serdobsk – 3 thousand hectares. 

120 pieces of equipment are taking part in the harvesting campaign: combine harvesters, vehicles for grain transportation. About 150 people are working in the fields.

Crop production is a strategically important area of Rusmolco’s business. The company manages 152,000 hectares of land. There is a full production cycle formed in the group of companies, including production, storage, and processing of grain.
