The Russian Dairy Company has increased the total daily milk production up to 500 tons

The Russian Dairy Company (a subsidiary of Olam International, Singapore), a leading producer of raw milk in the Penza region and one of the largest in the country, has increased the total daily milk production up to 500 tons. This allowed the company to enter the top three largest producers of the raw milk in the Russian Federation.

The positive dynamics is demonstrated due to the systematic implementation of the strategy for the development of the livestock sector. Rusmolco manages three modern dairy farms in three areas of the Penza Region. The company's livestock is constantly growing due to the launch of new production facilities and expansion of existing ones. In total, there are more than 14,300 feed cows. The average daily milk yield per one dairy cow exceeds 37 kg.

An important factor influencing the increase in the indicator is the work on improving the genetic potential of animals: it is carried out within the framework of the genetic program launched in 2019. The genetic program provides for the development of three interrelated areas: increasing the fertility of the herd, improving the genetic potential of future generations, and intensifying the growth of heifers.

In addition, Rusmolco has a program to improve animal health and the feed base. The company's specialists are regularly trained to upgrade their professional skills.
