”Rusmolco” starts making feeds

The making of the feeds at the farms of “Russian dairy company” is proceeding at full sped. The company plans to provide the cattle with the feeds, produced from the owned fields in full. The works are done exceeding the daily norms.

“Rusmolco” started to execute one of the main goals of the current season – fully provide the owned livestock with feeds. The forage harvesters are working at the fields and for several days now the haylage and hay are being made. The feed making is proceeding at a fast pace with exceeding the daily norms.

So far 12000 tons of haylage and 300 tons of hay have been made already. The harvest of the first cut of perennial grasses at RAO “Troitskoe” (director V.V. Pyshkin), the farm ensured a 100% own stock of haylage and hay. The feed making is proceeding at high rates at RAO “Narovchatskoe” (director A.I. Goloshtanov, where 6000 tons of haylage have been made already.

This season it is planned to make 10000 tons of hay and 75000 tons of haylage for all the farms. Compared to last year, the company’s plans for feed making increased dramatically. 4 times more hay and by 40% more haylage will be made. The growth of the indicators is due to the increase of the livestock count of “Rusmolco”: it is planned to import cattle to the dairy facility in v. Arshinovka, Nizhniy Lomov region in 2013.
