Rosselkhozbank expends its collaboration with a new investor - Olam International Limited

Rosselkhozbank held a business meeting among Dmitriy Patrushev, chairman of the board of the bank, and Sunny Verghese, founder and CEO of the largest Singaporean agricultural company Olam International Limited. This business event was also attended by Andrey Danilenko, chairman of the board of national dairy producers union, board member of Rusmolco and Damate; Naum Babaev, founder of Rusmolco and Damate; and Sharat Chandrasekhar, CFO of Rusmolco.

The focus of the meeting was realization prospects of new investment projects of Rusmolco and Damate with contributions from Rosselkhozbank and Olam International. 

“Nowadays, the Russian Federation leadership set a task of increasing agricultural products’ export, primarily those with added value. Obviously, the world’s food market competition demands implementation of modern production and management technologies as well as effective investors. Therefore, Rosselkhozbank welcomes and supports Olam’s practical interest towards the Russian agricultural business, - commented Dmitriy Patrushev during the meeting.  

Rosselkhozbank has already a successful experience of cooperation with Olam International in framework of implementation of investment projects of Rusmolco on building of dairy farms in the Penza region. The bank credit limit for Rusmolco’s projects now exceeds 7 billion rubles.

The cooperation development among the Bank and agricultural leaders will promote Russia’s export potential growth, improve the situation with import substitution in the dairy and poultry businesses, as well as increase investment volume into domestic agricultural branch.
