Naum Babaev speaks at Souzmoloko conference

 The «Russian Dairy Company» participated in the VI conference of SOUZMOLOKO. The Board Chairman of LLC MC «Rusmolco» Naum Babaev made a report on investments in the dairy industry. The Board Chairman of «Rusmolco» Naum Babaev, the CEO of the company Sumanta Kumar De, the Dairy COO Victor Shishikin participated in the VI conference of the National Union of Milk Producers (SOUZMOLOKO) which was held on February 03. The annual forum of the dairy industry participants took place in the All-Russia Exhibition Center as part of «Agrofarm -2015» exhibition. More than 400 representatives of the dairy business from 30 regions of the country participated in the conference. Deputy PM of the Russian Federation Arkadiy Dvorkovich opened the conference.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Yuriev also spoke at the conference, the President of SOUZMOLOKO Ayrat Khayrullin reported about the current situation in the dairy industry Naum Babaev’s report was traditionally devoted to the problem of attracting investment in the dairy sector. N. Babaev analyzed reasons that decrease investment attractiveness of the dairy sector, among them high volatility of purchase prices, irregular government subsidy, systemic crisis of livestock breeding, and staff scarcity, and offered some solutions.

«By getting the problem off the ground we will start the ball rolling which can impact a number of related sectors and industries: from agricultural engineering industry, mineral fertilizer production till transfer of enormous agricultural resources back into land turnover and creating a number of jobs, - emphasized N. Babaev, - we are convinced that agriculture can really become a mainstay for the domestic economy».
