RUSMOLCO is one of the largest companies operating in the Agriculture sector within Penza region. Rusmolco is a joint venture with Olam International Limited, which a Singapore-listed global agriculture company operating in 65 countries in 44 different agricultural commodities. Olam ranks within the top six agriculture companies globally and within the top three agriculture companies in Asia. Olam has been engaged in agriculture business in Russia since 2002 and as of 2013, Olam has invested a total of more than US$270 million in Russia’s agriculture sector through investments in industrial dairy farming through a 75% joint venture stake in Rusmolco and in grains business in the Krasnodar region.
Rusmolco began its activity with the repair and reconstruction of old dairy farms in 2007-2008, introduced modern technologies, new equipment and highly productive livestock to the region. Our business comprises of several farms involved in dairy farming, feed production and commercial agriculture, located in the Penza region at Bashmakovo, Pachelma, Kuznetsk, Narovchat, Nizhniy Lomov and Kondol.
Today Rusmolco is one of the leaders of Russian dairy industry and the largest producer of milk in the Penza region, producing over 150,000 lt of high quality milk each day. The company’s total area of lands is about 152 000 ha, with over 33 000 heads of highly productive Holstein cows. Our goal is to adopt innovative and fresh approaches to dairy farming that allows for efficient production of high quality milk at a reasonable cost of production.
