Rusmolco put into operation new drying facilities

On August 15, Russian Dairy Company (Rusmolco) put into operation new drying facilities. This is the first stage of the main cycle of the grain preparation. The amount of investments into the project is over US $ 2 000 000.

The capacity of dryers is 60 tons of grain per hour. Previously, the Company did not have drying equipment.

Vasiliy Bochkarev, Governor of the Penza region and Ivan Belozertsev, Head of the Legislative Assembly, as well as Rusmolco management and representatives of the local administration took part in that grand opening.

The system is comprised of 2 dryers, capacity of each is 30 tons an hour, horizontal and vertical conveyers, grain lines and two tanks, every tank can store 120 tons of grain.

“A particular feature of these facilities is as follows: the equipment is placed above the ground. We are the first who applied such a technology,” – commented Vladimir Reznichenko, Deputy CEO of Rusmolco.

In the nearest future the Company plans to construct a system for the primary cleaning of seeds and grain etching. That will help the Company to produce the seeds of different crops. In the short – term outlook Rusmolco is going to make provision not only of feeding – stuffs but also of seeds. New dryers will allow decreasing losses during the harvest and minimizing risks during the storage.

This onset increases the agrarian potential of the area and contributes significantly for the solving of a problem of current importance – food safety and food provision.”

In 2014, gross harvest production is supposed to amount approximately to 70 000 tons. At that, the main volume of drying and storage will be done by own strength of the Company. The payback of the project at maximal load is 5 months.
